IRA Transfer

 

The recent tax law changes allow those over 70 ½ years old to transfer up to $100,000 per year from their traditional IRA to a 501(c)3 non-profit. This donation can count toward your required minimum distribution and be deducted from your taxable ordinary income. Please check with your tax or financial advisor on the best procedure given your personal situation.
